Our story:
SD Carpentry & Construction is a family-run carpentry and building business based in Tavistock, working across Devon and Cornwall. Sean Donnelly set it up in 2023 — but the trade goes back a lot further than that. Some of Sean's earliest memories are in his grandad's workshop, and after eight years on the tools he set up on his own to do the work he loves most.
From fitted kitchens and bespoke storage to renovations, timber-frame builds, staircases and extensions, every job gets the same approach: careful preparation, honest pricing, and a clean, tidy site. We turn up on time, and if we're working in your home we treat it like our own. Fully insured, backed by a five-year workmanship warranty, and every quote is free.
